Cadence makes architectural materials on a deliberate release schedule. We begin with the things that frame a building's relationship to light and air — windows and doors — and grow, season by season, into a complete language of surfaces, hardware, and apertures.
Most building components are designed to be sold; ours are designed to be lived with. Cadence releases one series at a time — drawn in the studio, prototyped at full scale, and produced by makers we know by name.
Few materials, released deliberately. Each piece earns its place in the catalogue before the next is drawn.
Sightlines measured in millimetres. Modules that meet floor, wall, and ceiling without compromise or trim.
Specified once and serviced for the life of the building. A standard you can return to a decade from now.
Twelve modules in a single architectural language. Aluminium-clad timber by default, with bronze-anodised aluminium and solid white oak as alternates. Drawn for retrofit and new build alike.

Centre-pivot entrance leaf in solid white oak or bronze-anodised aluminium. Concealed floor pivot rated to 400 kg.
Multi-track lift-and-slide system with flush threshold. Operable panels to 6 metres, run as pocket or stacking.
Every module in Series 01 is drawn against a shared structural and thermal envelope — so substituting a fixed light for a pivot door, or a casement for a tilt-turn, never breaks the language of a wall.
Cadence is built around a single idea: a complete material language for modern architecture, released slowly enough to be done well. Below is the schedule, drawn from the studio's working calendar.
Lime plaster, hand-troweled clay, and dimensional stone — finished for floor, wall, and worktop.
Solid bronze and brushed steel lever sets, pulls, hinges, and concealed closers — a single hardware language.
Skylights, clerestories, and rooflights — extending the language of openings overhead.
Cabinetry components, joinery details, and trim. A growing library of architectural primitives.
Want to follow the release? The Cadence dispatch is sent four times a year, when a new module joins the catalogue.
A named technical lead on every project. Detail review, scheduling, and on-site mock-ups before procurement.
