The line, plainly.
Cadence Passive exceeds every industry standard, the only Cadence product line with a Passive House Institute component certificate. A 130 mm engineered-timber frame with high-density EPS insulation is clad in an aluminium exterior shell, with the timber left exposed inside, reaching installed Uw 0.80 W/m²·K in a passive-house-grade wall assembly.
Tilt & turn and fixed configurations are certified to CSA Class CW-PG50, the side-hinged door to CW-PG60. The timber core uses FSC-certified pine or oak finger-jointed profiles, finished with German Remmers water-based lacquer. Triple Low-E glazing with warm-edge spacers delivers U-factors from 0.75 W/m²·K on the side-hinged door.
Every Passive frame ships with German Roto multi-point hardware, EPDM seals, and AkzoNobel powder-coat paint on the exterior shell, supplied, installed, and warrantied by Cadence across Canada.
